Climate Change

The changes in climatic parameters will have huge impact on the associated water budget. Linkages of water budget with the corresponding precipitation, temperature and runoff. This will have impact on agriculture, food and water security of Pakistan and thus underlines the need for adaptation policies at governance level.

  • According to a report by Yale University, should global emissions continue to rise beyond 2020, or even remain level, the temperature goals set in Paris become almost unattainable.
  • According to some statistics, between 1997 and 2016, Pakistan suffered from 141 extreme weather events and lost an average of 523.1 lives per year due to climate change effects.
  • Over the past 50 years, the annual mean temperature in Pakistan has already increased by roughly 0.5 degrees.
  • recycled materials have been used to ensure a high indoor environmental quality
  • Dual aspect apartments with an abundance of natural light and cross flow ventilation
